Community Events
Shiver Elk River Committee
Plan a winter community event that provides positive image for chamber and member businesses and provides $5,000-7,000 in non-dues revenues for chamber while also supporting local non-profits. The committee new in 2011-2012 will begin meeting in August until late winter. Committee responsibilities include collaborating with other subcommittees, and community entities to create a broad based fun community event. Sub committees include Hockey Tournament, Food/cooking contest, Family Games, Marketing & Promotion.
